My uncle had a pretty extensive book collection and he passed away back in August. My aunt and I are in the process of trying to catalog them and then she would like to reach out to places that may be interested in acquiring them. He specifically has a large Sherlock Holmes collection with some first edition/rare ones. He also has a pretty extensive Titanic book collection. Does anyone have any leads on how to go about finding people, shops, collectors, etc. that may be interested?
Thank you for any and all help, tips, or leads.

>1 Jmtoad22: Well, I suspect a good place to start is any one or more of the FaceBook Sherlock groups for the Holmes books.
You can also peruse the website of the ABAA (Antiquarian Booksellers Association of America) for dealers in those subjects: ABAA.

In addition to excellent suggestions by Glacierman, you might want to check your local directory for book dealers near you and for auction houses.

Email Patrick Millikin at Poisoned Pen Bookstore in Scottsdale. They cater to collectors, and he runs that department. His email is patrick@poisonedpen.com
