Any initial thoughts on Jonty Olivier?

He's the stereotypical bad guy. He will do anything and hurt anyone to get what he wants.

He's going to be our "bad guy" and someone that Cotton can go after.

He is an essentially greedy character, living only for the massive sums his brokerage gets him and will go to any lengths to achieve success.

The man believes himself to be ‘refined’ because he doesn’t get his hands dirty, but whichever way you look at it, he is responsible for dirty deeds. He’s only fooling himself.

Someone who collects and uses information for gain, I look forward to him meeting with Cotton. Rather like a pantomime villain we should possibly boo every time he appears in the book.

An easy character to dislike, a weak out of shape coward, uses Vic to physical torture, making money off others mistake.

He is a consummate professional. Information was his specialty. His reputation. A man who could provide exactly what someone needed to know.

Yech. Horrible person, hypocritical about his actions and the damage they do, and can't wait for Cotton to meet up with him. >6 Andrew-theQM: Yes - good idea to boo every time he appears in the book!
