The missiles being placed in Poland has been resurrected. Was this a sensible plan or a needless escalation?

I think a needless escalation, especially since Poland doesn't want them there. If Poland was requesting them it might be a different story.

US President Fox wants to show how powerful he is and damn the any escalation. This is not the actions of a good leader.
