Was it right for Stephanie to go down the mine, or should she have stayed up top and leave it to Cotton to sort?

I think that her sense of responsibility drove her on but i do feel that she should have left the derring do to Cotton who is better equipped for dangerous situations.

She wanted to go and going with Cotton would be protection enough.

if she wanted to go no one was going to stop her, and she should have been safe enough with Cotton.

Stephanie is a leader not a follower and a leader is always up front

Being Head of the Magellan Billet, I reckon Stephanie can handle herself. No reason why she shouldn’t be there with Cotton. Though I’d prefer her to be carrying a gun, (I can’t recall mention of her being armed?).

Two heads are definitely better than one.

>2 Maura49: I'm more inclined to agree with Maura about Stephanie's decision. She wasn't there "officially" and could have distracted Cotton if there was a question about orders.
