Somehow this is NOT a Baen cover, despite the bathing cat woman.

That fur loincloth isn't going to dry out any time soon.

Raquel Welch has nothing to worry about.

DAW has had more than its share of GSS-worthy covers, too.

You can tell it's not BAEN!!!!etc. etc. because there's almost no black on the cover, and there are no weapons or explosions.

@bam2001: Probably they did that so's the pervy fanboys would hope there's a scene of her, erm, getting the water off that loincloth the same way cats do their fur after they get wet. Although she doesn't look angry enough (says she who used to have a cat that needed occasional bathing). Which leaves us with your idea, where she'll be angry, squelching, and chafing.

This appears to be a reprint, same art but more updated book titles in the subhead.

And why are (species) women always just shapely naked women with a couple cosplay elements? Oh, right, pervy fanboys...

I recommend reading at least the first paragraph of the Wiki entry.

Actually I think I prefer Kitty to this horror:

That really does make it look like a horror story instead of anthropological SF.

My immediate thought was an "Attack on Titan" defensive wall to keep out the giant cat-girl.

Hm.

Cat-lady seems to like the flowers from those lilypad-like plants in the foreground. Maybe they're like catnip to her species....
