In 2024 I made it to a grand total of 50 books. I've just started a new, less cruel job, with a much shorter commute, so will the gains in personal time from my better hours and more vacation time be undone by my losses in audiobook time from my shorter commute? LET'S FIND OUT!

Welcome back! Sounds like some changes have happened - hope it means more reading for you.

>2 drneutron: Yes! Good changes in the personal sphere. It was pretty grim there for awhile. (It's never a good sign when you want to pick up a new author but have been so out of it that you literally can't think of anyone you've "heard of" recently because you've been so nose to the grindstone.)
Good thing I can always find some Le Guin that I haven't read yet. Though it gets tough figuring out which of her short story collections I've read from the library and which I haven't. Perhaps the answer is just to buy all of them.

It cannot be October and I'm only at 45 books. Surely not. That being said I have the sneaking suspicion that I sometimes forget to list a few here and there as I finish them.
