Realistically I (E) won't get through 75 books solo because I work full time and work a homestead. However, my partner (S; full time + homestead, too) and I might be able to do it. If we both read a book, we'll count it twice.
As of January 23, we've read:
1) E - Marcus Aurelius: The Stoic Emperor (Ancient Lives) by Donald Robertson
2) E - The Prince by Niccolò Machiavelli
February:
3) S - A Court of Mist and Fury by Sarah J. Maas
4) E - Origin by Dan Brown
March:
5) S - A Court of Wings and Ruin by Sarah J. Maas
6) E - Magic in the Tragic by Dov Lipman as a LibraryThing early reviewer
April:
7) S - A Court of Frost and Starlight by Sarah J. Maas
8) E - A Disgraceful Affair: Stories A Collection of Short Stories by Fyodor Dostoyevsky
9) E - Started Moby Dick by Herman Melville, so it will likely be a while before that's finished!
June:
10) S - A Court of Silver Flames by Sarah J. Maas
11) E - Empire of Wild by Cherie Dimaline
July:
12) E - Murtagh by Christopher Paolini
August:
13) E - The Prophet by Khalil Gibran and returned to Moby Dick
14) S - Seven Days in June by Tia Williams

Welcome to you both! Our dirty secret is that we actually don't care about the numbers. We just like talking about books and stealing ideas from others' reading. 😀

>2 drneutron: hahah fair point. Thanks for the welcome! I see that you also have the Secrets of the Immortal Nicholas Flamel - I received them as a gift right as I was exiting my heavy fantasy-reading phase as a teen. Have you read them? What are your thoughts?

I did read them about 10 years ago, so well into adulthood (I'm 62). I enjoyed them - fun, not too serious, good plotting. If you're ever looking for a palate cleanser or something light to counter a heavier book, the series would work well.

>4 drneutron: Noted, thanks!!

>1 Ballyennis: My sister is a homesteader too, so I know how busy it can be, let alone working another job at the same time. She raises goats :)
Welcome to the group and, as Jim said, do not worry about the numbers. We certainly won't!

We're keeping on!
Along the way we've been doing some major homestead infrastructure projects. E taught himself how to repoint our home's brickwork and we've rebuilt our chicken coop.
