Hello friends! A new post has finally arrived, looking at the LEC edition of South Wind: https://georgemacyimagery.wordpress.com/2025/02/14/limited-editions-club-south-w...

I've just announced a hiatus on the blog for the foreseeable future. To make things more streamlined, here is what I posted:
"Since 2009, I've been operating this blog as an extension of my growing interest and love of the Heritage Press, and eventually, the Limited Editions Club. I've written over 200 posts on individual books issued by the two clubs along with one on the Reader's Club; spotlighted various resources created by other passionate collectors; provided a resource for beginners and experienced book lovers; and even produced my most successful book project chronicling the first series of the LEC. It's been an honor and a pleasure to watch this blog bloom into something more than just a hobby site into a valuable place for information, photographs, and history.
However, something has shifted inside me. I felt it begin last year when I put up my initial hiatus post, and I feel it stronger now that I tried to bring the posting back earlier this year...interest in adding more books into my collection doesn't stir me like it once did. I feel I have hit the plateau in terms of space in my current house, along with the desire to see what I'm buying versus blind online purchasing, are combining to form an unfortunate disinterest in the enterprise.
Is this the end of the Imagery? No. I refuse to close the door on this blog. But I also don't wish to string anyone along that might expect a new post from me that may not come. Realistically, I don't foresee myself working on anything here for some time.
I will leave it as it currently is, shining as the resource it has blossomed to be. Someday I'm sure my interests will shift again towards picking up the mantle for the Imagery once more. In this moment, though, I need to move on.
Before concluding, I wish to thank everyone who has read this blog; provided me insights or nuggets of additional stories and publishing notes; for commenting on my posts here or at LibraryThing. It means a lot to me to have connected with you through this blog, and at some point I'm positive it'll be something that I relish in the present again. I greatly appreciate your time, interest, and devotion (haha) to these books, ones I will always love and treasure.
With this, I bid you a fond farewell...for now."
To be clear, I will continue being a member and contributing here as part of this amazing community. Your help and kind words have made my blog shine even brighter over the years. I am sure that, at some point in the future, I'll drift into being enthused about writing up reviews and sharing the beauty contained in these books. But for now, I'm happy to step back and focus my creative efforts elsewhere for a while.

Happy you will continue to participate with us--the Group has grown so large, more than I could have imagined, that I'm sure there are many newer members eager for learning more about our favorite (well, my favorite) publisher, and members with your knowledge and expertise would be sorely missed.

>2 WildcatJF: thanks for everything you did in creating that resource. It has been an invaluable treasure trove of information for me since I first learned about LECs/HPs

>2 WildcatJF: Your reviews are a useful guide before I purchase any LEC or HP editions. Thank you and may the force be with you!
