Eat one of these butter figurines each day, and you will eventually be as hefty as some of our other frequent fair-goers!

Mmmmm, butter.

I don't think she's very pleased with the rendition. Always a critic.

It's better than the chopped liver statue from the previous year.

Are we in Oz? I think I see the Horse of Another Color on the right.

According to ISFDB, the cover artist was James Warhola.

>4 haydninvienna: Andy Warhol's brother!

The people on the left, watching the man in purple, appear to be wielding cocktail umbrellas,

@MrsLee: Damsel is definitely not having that butter sculpture. She may be considering its effect on her implausibly small waist.

@bam2001: If it's supposed to be a light gray in the shade, fine. If a bit day-for-night. However, everything else is in the sun, so... it's blue.

The horse must be the "magic and mystery" the blurb promises.

>5 GSSex-noob: Nah, the "magic and mystery" is the anthropomorphic beaver (or whatever) just over the damsel's right shoulder. He must be an artisan or something because he appears to be wearing a leather apron. Maybe he sells small wooden carvings....

OR, is he the fabled man-bear-pig?

>6 Hammy_JLK: I was thinking that was a bear as well. Let's go with man bear pig -- who knows what's around t'other side?

Woman just to the left of the Horse: "Green stuff in a dish? Best quality, it is."
