True romance

Looking for suggestions on true romance books. Not ones with graphic scenes or about promiscuity. I mean true romance, as in boy meets girl, boy likes girl, boy tries to woo girl with sweet talk and actions, not by how quickly he can get her clothing off. True romance in its truest form.

>1 Acrylic: Historical or contemporary?

Off the top of my head:

Historical: Ashes on the Moor by Sarah M.Eden
A Heart Adrift by Laura Frantz

Contemporary: To Protect & Serve by Staci Stallings

I'd like to know more about your tastes. Please share when you get a chance.

In the meantime.

(Male/female) The Name Drop by Susan Lee has nothing sexual, I don't think the two main characters even touch. They go on a beautiful date and they're super cute with each other.

(Male/female) The coincidence of Coconut cake, starts with flirtation between the two main characters, they go on a date. Their relationship is very cute. There is a fade to black romance scene but never did I feel like the goal of either main character is to get into each other's pants.

(Male/female) Going Postal by Terry Pratchett has a cute romance sub plot and nothing sexual and I love the way Terry writes women.

(Male/female) Seasons of the storm by Elle Cosimano is an interesting take on enemies to lovers. If you feel sad Rise of the guardians franchise didn't go anywhere I highly recommend the duology seasons of the storm. The romance is a huge part of an overarching plot. I'm planning a reread soon.

(Male/Male) The house in the cerulean sea by TJ Klune. Extremely slow burn and the romance is very sub plot but VERY cute.

(Female/female) One last stop by Casey Mcquiston has one open door sex scene (and that's it). The two characters are physically attracted to each other but I didn't get the vibe that they were trying to just hook up.

The Name Drop is great. It reminds me of my new favorite book, Afternoon Rebecca. It's romance in its truest form. Boy meets girl. Boy likes girl. Boy tries to woo girl. True romance, not just boy meets girl, boy and girl hop in bed with each other.

Perhaps, for contemporary, Emily Henry would work for you. I was quite fond of Book Lovers. Her books are humorous, romantic and not terribly spicy.
