When I was going over the list of authors from previous years I was slightly surprised to find that we hadn't yet featured Nancy Mitford. I fear she may be becoming one of those authors people have heard of but don't actually read.

Selected Works
Christmas Pudding
Wigs on the Green
The Pursuit of Love
Love in a Cold Climate
Voltaire in Love

>2 amanda4242: No luck for me here with Nancy Mitford but since I read The Raj Quartet last year, I am going to read Paul Scott's Staying On for the challenge in May.

I have Nancy Mitford's Pursuit of Love to read. I have already read Staying On, perhaps a reread? Or The Jewel in the Crown?

>5 cindydavid4: I've read most of her novels but none of her nonfiction, although I've always heard good things about it.

I've finished my re-read of The Jewel in the Crown; just three more to go!

I liked but didn't love The Pursuit of Love. The part of the book set just before and during World War II was the most interesting to me.

>10 cbl_tn: It's been ages since I've read it, but I remember liking Love in a Cold Climate more.

I liked Love in a Cold Climate but appreciated the autobiographical components of The Pursuit of Love. These were interesting sisters.

I've finished The Raj Quartet! They're definitely not books I can breeze through, but I found them so engrossing that I would sit down to read for just a few minutes and end up reading for several hours.
