What romance are you currently reading? I am rereading before donating The Stolen Bride by Brenda Joyce part of the De Warenne series.

I just finished Inheritance by Nora Roberts, book 1 in the Lost Bride trilogy. It was very good, but more of a cliff hanger than I could have wished. Now I'm reading Marcia Willet's First Friends, which strictly speaking is more "Women's Fiction" than a romance. Her style reminds me a lot of Maeve Binchy, though the plot revolves around British Navy wives rather than Irish communities.

>2 tealadytoo: I'm not a fan of cliffhangers, at least the ones that make the book seem incomplete.

I just finished The Surrender by Jodi Ellen Malpas. It's a sequel to The Invitation. Excellent book, very spicy 🔥. (Touchstones don't work.)

Reading Dragonfall slowly. I'm interested in learning more about the story but not yet "hooked" enough to read much more than a chapter or so at a time. I hear it's a slow burn romance but I don't see it yet.

ETA I have encountered the beginnings of the romance.

Just started Mate by Ali Hazelwood, sequel to Bride. I have liked all of the AH books I read so far and I am excited to see how Serena's story plays out.

I picked up Sinner by Sierra Simone Friday night. I read Priest over a year ago and had wanted to read the series but life intervened. I was going to re-read Priest first but ended up picking up my physical copy of Sinner while my phone updated Friday night. I'm enjoying Sinner greatly, with no regrets for not re-reading Priest first.

I checked out Brynne Weaver's Tourist Season from the library on Libby. So when I want a physical book, it's Sinner, and when I want an ebook it's Tourist Season.
