Notifications have begun to go out to winners in the May batch of Early Reviewers! What book(s) did you win?

I won a new edition of Vergil's Aeneid! Way back in the day I took four years of Latin in high school and another semester in College. The Aeneid was the first actual Latin work that I read after we got past vocabulary and basic grammar. I certainly couldn't read it in the original Latin anymore, so I am looking forward to revisiting it this way! (It's a cracking good story.)

I won Joseph Wore Tennis Shoes: Stories from Small Town Journalism, by Dale Kovar -- and the e-copy landed in my mailbox about 5 minutes after the notification that I'd won it!

I am having trouble adding the Early Reviewer edition of the Aeneid (Dryden verse translation) to my library, or even linking to the ER edition. The add link goes to a paperback of a translation by Fitzgerald.

>6 tealadytoo: Different translations a work are considered the same work on LT. So Dryden's translation and Fitzgerald's translation should indeed be combined. All you need to do is make sure that your book has the correct information. If the book has the wrong information when you add it to your catalog, you can just edit it.

>6 tealadytoo: The Add button attached to the giveaway itself functions in a similar way to the Add button on work pages, in that it fetches the most commonly used ISBN edition of that work. The difference is that if it can't find that, it will use the copy cataloged in the Early Reviewers account.

Usually this works fine, because books offered are new, and don't have many other editions associated with the work. This is a niche case though, because it's a new edition of a very old work.

Try cataloging from the Add books page, using the ISBN or ASIN of that edition: 9798307170946 or B0DSRMG19K

Thanks! I couldn't find the ASIN or ISBN needed. I will try that.

ETA: Worked a treat! Much obliged.

I won the ebook version Putin's Sledgehammer by Candace Rondeaux. And it magically appeared in my email, so I'm off reading it!
