Patrons disappeared from items checked out

I have multiple books checked out and a couple months ago all showed properly checked out to individuals, but now for some reason, the patron space is empty. It still shows the book is checked out - but it's not checked out to anyone and I don't know who has checked the items out. Help?

>1 RenaissanceAcademyMI: Hi there! It looks like you have enabled this in your Circulation Settings: "Allow admin to create check-out transactions with no patron set." This may be why some of your transactions do have patrons attached and others don't. You may wish to disable that if you want to ensure a patron is always selected during check-out.

It could also be that a patron with some items checked out was deleted by one of your staff members. It may be worth checking in with other staff admin users to see if they deleted any patrons, if you haven't already.

It may take some investigation to track down who has these items after all, but once you know you should be able to edit the transactions here: https://www.librarycat.org/admin/transactions
