Melinda is not working. Do you know what if the problem can be solved? Melinda is a good source since there are both fiction and non-fiction books.
Helmet is available, but it is not as comprehensive as Melinda.
There is also large database Finna, but it contains all kinds of materials besides books. I don't know if that is possible to add into LibraryThing. Address to search interface: https://finna.fi/?lng=en-gb
There is Finna API, but I don't know is that useful: https://api.finna.fi/swagger-ui/?url=%2Fapi%2Fv1%3Fswagger

>1 Anneli: "Melinda is not working" is less helpful than an example of something that is not working.
In general the LT sources are public available Z39.50 sources.

is from 2017, but says that Finna is not available as a data source for library systems.

I'm sorry; maybe I was asking the wrong way. I add books as a LibraryThing member to my books in LibraryThing. The best source of adding books from Finnish library databases has been Melinda. Now it is not available anymore as a source in LibraryThing.

I don't know how to give an example of what is the problem. I see only that Melinda is not available as a source in LibraryThing. I have no means to see what is wrong.

>5 Anneli: Ah, you said "not working" rather than "not available as a source".
I can actually fix simple versions of "not available as a source". With a bit of luck I've gotten Melinda up as source again. Please check if you agree.

It works now. Thank you very much!
English is not my native tongue, so I don't always find appropriate words or expressions.

There was a bug report about Finnish sources recently: https://www.librarything.com/topic/333656
Hopefully, the MELINDA dupe was not turned back on.

>8 lesmel: No, this was the original Melinda. I think the only change I made was to remove the username/password from the connection details. I couldn't find out how to put in a note about it, so I just fixed it :-)

>7 Anneli: No problem. I was just explaining why it took me some extra time before I realised that I could fix the problem :-)
