Cyborg Monophthalmus was all about Robot Power and keeping the Irish down.

How do you say 'Klaatu barada nikto' in Irish Gaelic?

>1 EndofDiskOne: The title and the descriptive sentence have never been spoken/written before, and yet it's perfect. GSS with oak leaf cluster to you!

That's some great 80s hair. I didn't even have to look up the book to know the time period. Nicked from Miami Vice, innit?

@NomadUK: Probably about the same, or with a KH/GH sound and even more inexplicable spelling.

(I don't know Irish, but have a smattering of closely-related Scottish Gaelic, and *clearing throat noises*)

GSS, NomadUk and EndofDiskOne.

Apparently, a novel which posits the bold theory that the Formorians1 were Robot Aliens, or maybe Alien Robots. 2 Presumably they were less successful in Ireland than the Reptoids were in England.
