Who do you think took the earring and why? Was it the killer or the Good Samaritan? Why?

The killer took the earring.
But then, it’s my theory that the Samaritan is the killer…

It could be either of them. However I’m still considering the good samaritan is also the killer-at least for Gloria’s death. Maybe he forgot to get the earring because he got flustered after killing the grocery store owner? Had to return to get it. Idk. Need to read on…
