Did Bonnie Fox do the right thing in lying to the BOPRA coordinator?

Yes Bonnie would not have gotten the information to give to Terry unless she lied to the BOPRA coordinator.

In the context of the novel, it was the only way to get the information. But if this had been a real life situation, I don’t think as a doctor she should have done this. She should not have compromised herself, but insisted McCaleb take it to the authorities.

She is putting herself at significant professional risk by helping McCaleb

She didn’t really have any option, but this scene seemed a bit unbelievable to me.
