Were you surprised by Graciela’s reaction when McCaleb told her he was a suspect? Would you have expected any different?

I did wonder whether she’d show any doubt in him, (which would only have been natural), then I remembered she’d been on the boat when the intruder was there, so would easily accept the incriminating items had been planted.

I think Gracelia was on his side and believed him and wanted to help him. No I wouldn’t expect any difference.

All the evidence pointed to him not being involved, including the night time intruder, so wasn’t fully surprised by her reaction. However, it might still be human to doubt.
