An enjoyable read, Connolly gave us plenty to work with. I like being able to guess whodunnit.
Thanks everyone, it was good to read this in company, as always, (though we’ve missed several of our usual companions, this time…), and answer Andrew’s searching questions! ☺️

Thank you again, Andrew. You do a great job of providing us with interesting questions. Thank you to Eadie, Sergie and Bluebird for your participation. Lynda was knee-deep in kitchen remolding and couldn't dig her way out in time but I'm sure she'll make the next one. Maybe she'll bake us some cookies in her new kitchen???

>2 Sergeirocks: Totally agree, much better than those authors who keep everything close to their chests and reveal something at the end that meant as a reader we had no chance of working it out. Yes Ann Cleeves, I’m calling you out 😂

Thanks everyone for reading along and participating in a really interesting but quite long book. The book certainly held our interest throughout. It bothered me though that one or two red herrings seemed a bit blatant and not referred to again. Eg. The boy in the hospital, the harmonica handed to McCaleb in the car.

>7 Andrew-theQM: Connelly got me hook, line and sinker with the harmonica! I was convinced it was going to be key.
