What was your final rating for the book and why?

I’m giving it 4.75★s.
It lost 0.25 only because Noone never voiced why he was what he was. I was left to surmise that his father had been a bully.

I’m giving the book 4.5 stars. See you guys next time for the next read.

I loved the movie even if someone other than Clint Eastwood should have been McCaleb; and this was a good story with a decent ending...so I'll go with 5.

I watched the movie yesterday. It definitely was different than the book but I still enjoyed it. I think Clint Eastwood was good in the movie. I love his movies. Sorry everyone but we do have different views! lol

Eadie, I like many of Clint Eastwood’s movies, I just don’t see him as McCaleb. I hope I ‘m mistaken and that he’s a good fit!

Thought hard about my rating as couldn’t make my mind up. Eventually gave it 4.5 stars, an excellent read but the whole blatant in your face harmonica red herring wrinkles with me and it cost him his 5 stars!

Clint Eastwood is a good actor, but totally the wrong fit IMHO for McCaleb. Although don’t think I’ve ever seen the movie.
