Hah! I did it! You have no idea how happy that makes me, lol.
There is nothing about this cover that I like. I hate the shade of green that they used, not real fond of the yellow either, and what is that thing in the middle supposed to be? A bookshelf with some weird kind of dotted book on it? No idea. I know that beauty is in the eye of the beholder, but I see no kind of beauty here myself.

Uglyyyyyyyyyyyyyy!!! :D
When we did this years ago, we voted afterward on which book cover we thought was the ugliest. I used to give prizes, but stopped when mailing things overseas became so costly. If you'd like to conduct a vote afterward (no prizes), go ahead and do it. It's quite fun!
>3 alcottacre: LOL! Oh, Stasia. You are so funny!

>4 SqueakyChu: I see that LT has a new poll thingy that could help with votes. (No idea what it is or how it works though 🤗)

>7 alcottacre: Absolutely! 👍
>8 humouress: Thanks for that, Nina! I’ve been too busy to follow all the LT updates as avidly as I used to. There was an older poll device that I used many times in the way past, but I would have needed to look that up because I forgot what it was. It used HTML, but this is way simpler. Wow! Tim came up with this just as we can use it! Fabulous!!
ETA: Hey! I didn’t know we can use emojis here! I guess I’m late discovering that as well. Look out, challengers. I do like emojis! 😃

Testing the new poll feature.

Goblin Mode (wrong touchstone) by Caroline Hagood is my book. I will have to upload its cover.
12Chatterbox
Struggling to upload the cover, but I'm opting for The Marionette by Terry Fallis. It's weirdly distorted and just ugly and boring. And the bright red cover just makes that more annoying.

>13 SqueakyChu: We need Lovecraft to come out of his grave to describe this one! And possibly hit the designer on the head with his own femur, (Lovecraft's, let's not make it too gory), to paraphrase Mark Twain.

>20 SqueakyChu: : Ha! I really enjoyed the book, so I'm glad there was a TIOLI spot to place it.

>13 SqueakyChu: I'm probably not going to make it through this book this month.

>19 countrylife: Who decided on that color scheme? Yuck!!
>22 SqueakyChu: Sorry to hear that, Madeline.

Here's my book for the month.
This is the first edition cover art for The Cowboy and the Cossack. It had been out of print but is one of the books of Nancy Pearl Book Lust Rediscovery.

>25 humouress: No, Nina, as I really like this book. However, i ordered a copy of Hostage by Eli Sharabi from my public library and felt compelled to read it right away. I might still be able to sneak in Goblin Mode under the wire, but I doubt it. We'll see.
