What is your initial impression of Penn?

He seems quiet and competent. He wants to help the team find the killer.

He seems an "okay" guy...and he's wanting to be helpful.

Knows his job and a team player.

I like Penn and think maybe the person who knows about Lauren. Kim gave him the paper with Lauren’s name written on it and Penn may find the person who wrote it.

Seem like he would be a good addition to the team, if becomes a permanent move, but Dawson could struggle if he joined the team - feel as if his nose has been pushed out.

He made quite an entrance, I thought, bandana and all. He’s a useful addition, freeing up Dawson and Stacey from the jobs they usually do (not without comment from those two worthies - no hard feelings there then! 😠). He seems like a pleasant, likeable sort, but obviously not all that memorable, because this isn’t the first case he’s been involved in, yet I can’t remember him at all…

I also didn't remember him. He seems quirky, but seems like a team player that enjoys his work and wants to get the job done. A good fit for the team. His presence may also help Stacey with her recovery— although I’ve no recollection of his involvement.
