It looks as though she’s as much a victim as any of Lord’s women. After her beating, I can sympathise slightly more with what she’s doing, (though I’d have more respect for the woman if she escaped his clutches and ran for the hills; but maybe there’s more to her story that we just don’t know yet?).

I’m answering this section as I read. And I’ve apparently been duped!
I did wonder if the attack on Roxanne was another ploy, but once he drew blood and started kicking her in the head, I couldn’t believe it wasn’t real.
How gullible do I feel…? 😶

I have to agree with everyone's reasoning. Like >4 EadieB:, I think she should go to the police...not just call...show up in person. Her appearance should at least get her some protection if an arrest couldn't be made.

At first I bought into Roxanne being pressured by Kai as well. But it turns out they are almost business partners and she's his top earner. She doesn't want to inform the police. She wants to make money by exploiting young, inexperienced girls.

Just the initial thought is that she is a victim too, but what a horrible woman she turned out to be. In many ways worse than him, he never pretended to be anything but what he was!
How can you do what she did!!!
