21 alexyskwan : For #3, figure out the name you should use from the first line, then just search under that, Halloween, and the more common name of the creature from line 2.

36 midnightcat : #3 took me a while but Think of the female characters in that book, and search for the name. Look closely at the book covers and you should see the common name for line 2

42 alexyskwan : For #3, it's not a red herring per se, the name of the female protagonist in the classic book is part of the title of the book we're looking for.

I tag-mashed Hallowe'en and one of the common names for 'eusachian' and the folks she hitches a ride from.

I nearly went mental trying to find this.
