printing shelf list in correct LC call number order

I'm trying to print a shelf list in LC call # order. For the most part it's accurate, but am finding more "out of order" items than I would like. Is there a clinch in the system concerning this? Checking the records individually shows that there is no discrepancy in how I created the record or added the data. The "show printable catalog" list matches the errors in my printout, so I know it's not something I'm doing on myside. Any way that this can be fixed? Thank you.
