Can I edit a complete list of titles by an author or do I have to edit each book individually, even though the edit is the same for each title? Thanks

You would need to edit each of your own books separately.

That is what I feared, but thank you anyway!

There is a Power Edit feature which allows changes to tags and collections, but titles specifically do need to be done individually.
