Missing Book Covers

Not sure whether or not this is just me or maybe just the UK but almost all of my book covers now just show a vertical line. This doess not seem to happen in the Apple App but does on the website.

This may be related to the recent AWS outage and even effects when I add a new book as all I get is the "cannot find" image. Sometime I can chnage to a cover that someone else has loaded but nothing seems to be coming from Amazon (might just be Amazon UK again). Not checked but could other sources as well.

Can anything be done about this, can I do anthing, as my Library has 3000+ entries and changing the covers for 90% of those is no easy task?

You seem to use mostly Amazon covers.

Yes, I cannot find covers in most of the other source so Amazon is my go too, somethimes I scan book covers and load them to Librarything. The only ones I can see are those loaded via other users or myself.

Are you looking at my library via a browser or app? For me they disappear on the browser view. It looks like the link to the cover image is no longer active?

Covers are from other users or from Amazon. Amazon covers are not stored on LT. They are on Amazon's servers. If Amazon changes its cover, yours changes. If Amazon stops keeping the cover, yours disappears. It is much better to use member covers.
