Is there a login authentication API under development?
With that, people could do stuff like WordPress plug-ins where they could be their LT username and password and you could use the API to get their list of books (or authors, or tags) and use them for different purposes.
My thought at this point is that I am going to post my library on my blog (not my 17 books listed on my profile, I mean my WHOLE library) and let my friends and family know that I am willing to give, share, or sell any of those books that they want or need. Then, I could manage the tags and settings on Library Thing and it would update on my blog.
Can someone official give me an answer on that?
Thanks,
Matt

Not sure if anyone reads this, but just a note on a little friendly competition:
I was able to do this with Goodreads.com
