The woman looks more cold-adapted than the monkeys: she's not bundling up with that (sheet? cape? blanket?), she's just letting it artistically flap in the wind.

I'm pretty sure I read this, probably even in this cover, but I remember nothing about this.

I don't think the monkeys, even in their outfits, feel like breaking into song. Look at the expression on the front ape's face. He is NOT enjoying the blowing snow. The one in back seems to have given up or frozen stiff.
