If you run across an interesting article or web site, post it here for everybody to see. As with the Group Announcements, we'd like to keep discussion of the articles to a minimum on this thread.

Since we’re so close to the change in years, I’ll put this article here, too!

Another year-end treat from the NYT: Frank Bruni’s “The Best Sentences of 2025.” It’s a lovely read!

Not so much an article, but for 75ers in the US, there's an online screening of the documentary about book banning attempts, "The Librarians". Saturday Jan 10th, 5 pm Eastern, $15. I've signed up as I've heard amazing things about this.

Gamifyng our Reading A lot of good thoughts in this article, although I disagree with some of her conclusions, AND I think this group is fundamentally aware of the pitfalls, and pretty good at avoiding them. (HATE the label "gamifying", btw.)

>6 laytonwoman3rd: This is a great, if repetitive, essay. I value visual, aural and text inputs, and I'm sure there are more. If schools could integrate these modalities into active teaching and learning, it would be a great improvement.

If you are a fan of Watterson's Calvin & Hobbes, I have done the leg work down the rabbit hole for you. I've already placed my library request for both books mentioned, his new one and the one about him. Here's what he is up to:
