My reading journey this year got a bit derailed with a Heated Rivalry obsession (as you can see from the last two months of reading), and now that I have completed all of the canon books (some two or three times), and watched the show 11 times, I’ve gone down a deeeeep rabbit hole of fan fiction…which absolutely counts as reading, but is so varied in length from a paragraph to a 1,000 page ebook, I’m not going to be entering them all here.

But I’m loving it all, and it’s totally meeting my persistent need for entertainment and escapism. 🏒🏳️‍🌈❤️

19. A Parade of Horribles - Matt Dinniman. Amazing! - and the world building just continues to grow and get deeper. I’m finally all caught up after starting them in Feb 2025. Now I have to wait. I hate waiting.

Also, I hadn’t finished a non-Heated Rivalry-related book or fanfiction in three months. It took Carl and Donut to break me out of the cult… for a few days at least. I’m still deep inside it though and it’s a problem I don’t ever want to ever go away.
