What if an intelligent species of fascist rats had evolved and forced the Colorado hippies of the 1970s into servitude making endless quantities of cider rather than freely concocting tea made from meadow pickings? Baen has the answer!

>1 EndofDiskOne: I... I have nothing to add to your description. GSS!

Not sure if Shoeshine Boy has a better or worse job than the apple toters.

I am just barely old enough to remember Mom buying at Celestial Seasonings direct from the founders. I still drink it.

Obligatory "font abuse" tag.

This was written shortly before he died and long after his stroke, which means it's probably terrible and this is the only publisher who would take it.

A Baen cover without cheesecake? What’s the world coming to?

>2 GSSex-noob: it's probably terrible : The LT rating is 2.17, so yes, it probably is.

@AndreasJ: And no 'splosions either!

@NomadUK: I "heard" it fine even without the <angle brackets>

(thanks @ScoLgo)

I think a few classic Baen cat people would take care of this issue nicely.

The later Redwall books seem to have taken an odd turn....

But who do we get to get rid of the dog people? And does this end with gorillas, which the hippies stand no chance against?
