I am currently doing a readalong of Les Miserables which will keep me busy. I will wait to see what others post here. If there are some shorter ones, I will try to join in.

I nominate Time’s Arrow by Martin Amis and The Old Devils by Kingsley Amis. A pair of Amises! The first is short and the second looks entertaining.

I can access a copy of The Old Devils on archive.org, so I will second that. And I have a read a book from the 80s challenge in March, so fits in there too.

We'll make The Old Devils our March read to fit in with 80s challenge, and I'll make Time's Arrow our February read. I've read it previously and it's one of the list books that has remained with me over the years. Some people aren't keen on it; I found it clever and thought-provoking; will be interested to hear what others think.
