Any thoughts on the car and why it was left near where the victim was found? What about the mess in the car?

I didn't at the time, but once Hunter and Garcia speculated that his car was driven up the day before his body was moved, it made sense.

I think his car was filthy because he's a slob. His house was pretty disgusting too.

I’ve no idea what either of these might have to do with the plot.

This seemed strange as would mean the killer had to make two journeys. Must either have an accomplice or it’s a lot of walking for the killer, which surely would make him/her vulnerable to exposure. Obviously though trying to help make it look like an accident.
