Could the fact that Terry was estranged from his son, and given his son’s anger, have anything to do with his death? Why?

Sure could be a reason for murder as his son may have killed him.

I just can't see how his son could be involved. He lives in Arizona and the murders take place in Los Angeles. The men are being killed by the same person.

I can't see any reason for the son being involved.

Nothing can be ruled out at this stage, but I’d be looking for a link with Shaun, as I think they’re victims of the same killer. Going to have to wait for more information to come to light.

It doesn’t feel as if the son is the killer, especially if we are dealing with a serial killer. Need more information on the connections between the two victims to hypothesise the reasons for the murders.
