What was your opinion of Russell and his approach? Why do you think he chose Jennifer?

I wonder if there is some sort of support group or counseling group where Shaun, Terry, and Jennifer confessed that they were child abusers and that's where the killer chose his victims. I think all three were probably feeling remorse and trying to work through their guilty feelings.

Russell chose to sit next to Jennifer on the bus and found out her personality by sitting next to her and talking with her. He was very clever in the way he chose Jennifer.

Calculated and unrushed, he set Jennifer up nicely. He’d obviously done his homework and knew she was alone and wouldn’t be missed.

Feels another targeted selection. I was thinking along the same lines as >2 Olivermagnus: but also wondered whether it was also possibly through 1:1 counselling.
