Any thoughts about Joseph’s broken arms, and the nature of the breaks? Do you think this could be significant to the murder of Terry or others? How? Why?

Joseph got his arms broken by his father who never took him to the hospital. I think this type of abuse was the reason for his murder.

Maybe our killer is selecting his victims from those that justice bypassed. Joseph's father is a good example.

I agree. Somehow the killer is trying to pay back in kind.

By this point Carter had lost me. I had no idea what any of this had to do with the killings.

It was information that this was somehow linked to abuse, seemed too coincidental. It definitely felt as if Joseph must have got those breaks through abuse and would explain his feelings about Terry.
