He gave them more details about the abuse and how it related to Shaun's torture by the killer.

It shows the detectives are on the right track. Now all they have to do is find out who got hold of the information.

Hunter and Garcia asked what sort of violence was it and Emiliano answered that it was the kind that broke bones. It was the same type of injuries that Shaun received during his torture phase.
