When Emiliano offered to help, I wondered if he would be part of the final takedown. It provided a nice way to conclude his own abuse story.

I’m guessing Garcia was bemused - that one, off-duty cop was what Hunter would consider ‘Cavalry’, 🐎🤠.
That scene was definitely a bit tongue-in-cheek, a bit of light comedy to relieve the tension.

It was a nice touch in the book, and it would be good to see more of Emiliano in the books. Garcia had total trust in Hunter but this made for a good interplay at the end of the book.
