Let me start by saying that Baroque Opera is a huge hole in my knowledge. I love Baroque music, especially oratorio, but sadly I have never really explored many Baroque operas. Quite by accident I came across Griselda.
I'm curious what performances of this opera people have heard and enjoyed, and why have you enjoyed a particular performance.

I have not had the good fortune to see that particular opera, though I am a big fan of baroque opera (well, baroque and earlier music generally).
We are lucky here in Chicago to have some excellent early music groups, and two of them, the Newberry Consort and Haymarket Opera, collaborated on a concert performance of Jacopo Peri's Euridice earlier this season, and next season will collaborate on a production of Claudio Monteverdi's L'Orfeo.
