This! This is what we told the ancient Egyptians to paint inside our pyramids! And none of that hieroglyphic nonsense, either!

Lovely Mr. Weinbaum.

I have this collection. It's a crying shame he died so young. I once wrote a sort of gazetteer for Weinbaum's solar system, adding in extra details and circling around a few of the more absurd bits.
Can't really mock the cover, it's pretty story-accurate, although Tweel looks a bit too bulky. This is a little closer: https://ichef.bbci.co.uk/images/ic/480xn/p04w7f16.jpg

>3 bam2001: Weinbaum could have given us so many more good stories, if only.
I don't remember Tweel's people having an Egyptian period. Or the Egyptians having a giant pointy nose period.

>7 GSSex-noob: I think the idea was that, before their civilization collapsed due to possibly Slinker-related reasons, Tweel's people had visited Egypt somewhere deep in the BCEs, and this pic was a record of that expedition, with the artist working from a possibly questionable description of what terrestrials looked like or maybe just taking creative liberties.

>8 bam2001: I haven't read it in this century. But it would make sense that pyramid cultures would get along.
