I don't know that this is an LE. The artwork is the cover of the 2011 standard edition. That edition has, over time, been sold out and then brought back. Given the fact that the email doesn't state this is a limited edition, it might well just be a return of the SE.

>3 Redshirt: So far, they've only used these types of reveals for limited editions, but it's anyone's guess when it comes to Folio. But they've repackaged standard editions in the past as limited editions (including next week's Howl's Moving Castle and Sam Weber's work on Dune), so there's certainly precedent for it.

It strikes me that Tuesday May 5th is roughly when we could expect the Summer Collection to be available. So maybe this is just a reprint or new version of the previous SE that is being released as part of the Summer Collection.

>6 red_guy: Absolutely. While reprints have their place, if they are released as part of a Collection they take up space that could be better filled with a plethora of interesting, previously unreleased titles.

Someone from the Facebook group asked FS if it will be an LE or an SE and they confirmed that it will be an SE that is part of the Summer collection.

>8 assemblyman: These types of reprints for The FS, are they usually identical to the past editions? Are they listed as 2nd, 3rd, 4th, etc. printing of the same edition?

>9 BreakBeatDJ: It depends if there's any update to the contents. For example, last year's Animal Farm was considered a new edition and reset with a first printing due to it being re-typeset, containing two-color printing, a new slipcase design, an updated cover and the inclusion of an extra piece of art. However, if it's a straight-up reprint, then it'll continue the print history from the previous edition.

Quite pleased its a SE reprint. I'd quite like to own a copy, but I feel it might be tempting fate a little to jump in for a LE given the title.

I'm waiting for the special edition to commemorate the anniversary of the Declaration of Independence to be announced. Speculation is that it is Moby-Dick.
