Just visited for the first time and loved it. Small store, but very eclectic group of books, cards, and postcards. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

The Book Works in amazing. The whole shop is built of antique wood, it's in an outdoor mall near the ocean, the staff are always helpful, the selection of books is not your run of the mill best sellers, they always have interesting titles, the owner has an adorable little Dachshund named Harry who like to lay on the counter, and there is a cafe/coffee shop that adjoins the book store. This is one of my favorite places to hangout.
