Hello,
Anyone interested in talking about GIZI maps? I have collected nearly all the titles available. I believe no new maps have been publised in a very long time. I understand it is a small family business based in Hungary managed by Gizella Bassa and her husband.
These maps are by far my most favorite maps. Other maps I collect are IGN. I have also a lot of ITMB maps, even visited their flag shop in Vancouver. They have the largest catalogue of maps amongst all the publisher, but there is something that prevent me from warming up to the look and feel of those maps.

The GIZI maps look beautiful. I haven't seen them before. I'm going to order a couple of the ITMB maps for Spain. (GIZI doesn't seem to cover Spain). They're also new to me. Thanks for the information.

Hello Hagelstein, I am glad you are now discovering the wonderful world of Gizi Maps. I have nearly the whole collections, 45 titles. Try the Red Sea or the Transsiberian or even St Helena.... Do you know of any other forums about maps and travel guide books?

Thanks LeMoai. No, this is the only forum I know of right now.
