"your other edition" not showing on all duplicate works

I have a small (about 350 books) lending library for our local community. I have several books that I have multiple copies of. Some show up on the works page (is this the same as the Overview?) with a notice of "your other edition" and some do not. I am trying to figure out why, and how to fix this. For the works not showing as "other edition" it appears to me everything is the same - same ISBN, cover, author, publisher, etc. I have checked for typos. it is the exact same book, just a different copy. Why is it not showing, and how can i get it to sync up?

I have found the "copy notes" in the book edit page, and i could add the book there. Now on the works/overview page it will say "Barcode and Copy notes: Copy 1 92, Copy 2: 270" But I'm not sure what that is for or what it does, or if it is terribly helpful. it does not link to the Charts & Graphs/Odds & Ends/Work Duplicates page, which is an easy and helpful way to see all books with multiple copies.

1) Nobody can check this out if you do not give examples.

2) The developers are working on copies right now so things are probably changing, and we will see in a day ir two what has been done.

Thanks for replying.

What is the best way to give an example?
I'm not sure how links will show when not logged into my account, but here are two links for two of my books.
Ajamila: An Inspiring Story from a Vedic Literature
https://www.librarything.com/work/34936404/295943275
https://www.librarything.com/work/36050317/310763257

Here is my list of "Work Duplicates" https://www.librarything.com/stats/NewPanihatiDham/workdups

This is a link for a set of books that does show as duplicates:
Bhishma: A Great Personality
https://www.librarything.com/work/34936411/310763297
https://www.librarything.com/work/34936411/295943295

Second example of "correct" work duplicates:
Gajendra: The Great Elephant Devotee of the Lord
https://www.librarything.com/work/36050319/295943346
https://www.librarything.com/work/36050319/310763259

The URL on the books that show as duplicates share the first set of numbers, with only the last 9 digits are different. Gajendra is found on Amazon India and is searchable by ISBN in LibraryThing's Add books function. Bhishma and Ajamila are not found and were entered manually.

If it is relevant, and as I add more detail I become increasingly sure that it is, most of my books are not found in the LibraryThing Catalog, or on Amazon, etc. Most of them are bought & printed in India, and are not found by scanning or typing the ISBN or searching for title/author. Some of the ISBN provided on the books link to other books entirely. (A ISBN for a book about Shiva and Paravati might link to a book about soccer, for instance. While this has happened a few times, I cannot provide examples.) A few of my books have a different ISBN listed on the cover/barcode of the book than on the publisher website. (Again, while I have seen this, I did not make note of the books at the time.)

>3 NewPanihatiDham: I suspect these are all work combination issues. I’ve combined the editions of Ajamila, so that should be fixed. If you see in the URL that the first set of numbers are different for what should be the same book, you can ask for them to be combined in the Combiners group, https://www.librarything.com/ngroups/460/Combiners%21, until you learn how to do the combining yourself.

Oh that's fantastic. thank you so much for your help. Yes, I have several more that need to be combined. thanks for pointing me in the right direction to get that settled.

The easiest way to combine is to put both works in the workbench (in Helper Hub).

You might want to try some of the Indian sources besides Amazon.
