Can anything be done about 2 welded-together authors?

When I look at the Author Information section for the 2-volume work Wines and Spirits (with Recipe Book), I see:
Alec Editors of Time Life Books ; Waugh (which maps to https://www.librarything.com/author/waughaleceditorsofti ), "primary";
Alec; Editors Of Time-Life Books Waugh (which maps to https://www.librarything.com/author/aleceditorsoftimelif ), "secondary";
and Waugh, Alec and the Editors of Time Life Books (which maps to https://www.librarything.com/author/waughalecandtheedito ), "secondary".

There are 18 members with Wines and Spirits (with Recipe Book). The first "author" I listed above is associated or credited with this one work with its 18 members. The other two are 0 members. And Alex Waugh, who I have entered as the primary author of my copy of Wines and Spirits (with Recipe Book), is not being credited with authorship of this work at all. Note that Alex Waugh is credited with authorship for the single-volume works Wines and Spirits and Recipes: Wines and Spirits.

Is there a way to correct this? to give Alex Waugh credit for the 2-volume work, and to ditch the mashed-up names? The last 2 are still listed as "unconfirmed", so I suppose I could click the red "⊗", but as for the primary author ...? (I'm happy to give it a go if I get a little experienced guidance.)

Done. Editors... could be entered as Other Author.

You just have to change the primary author in spite of the warnings if the primary author is just plain wrong.

You just have to change the primary author in spite of the warnings if the primary author is just plain wrong.

So you went into the "Other Authors" pop-up and used the edit option (pencil tool in the right column) to re-write the Author? Changing Alec Editors of Time Life Books ; Waugh ( https://www.librarything.com/author/waughaleceditorsofti ) to "secondary" and adding Alex Waugh as "primary"? or did you just change the primary name to Alex Waugh and the system changed Alec Editors of Time Life Books ; Waugh to secondary?

(I'm looking to learn exactly how would I do it next time.)
