new collection not showing up under Collections in brief record

I added a new collection eresources in Librarything but it is not showing up in Tinycat. It is the 3rd collection assigned to this book. It has been saved in the librarything record and shows there, but not in Tinycat. What did I miss?

You need to go into TinyCat Admin/Settings and tick the checkbox for the new collection.

I wonder if instead of selecting the opt-in collections it would be better to select the collections not to display. That would permit dynamic display of collections without having to update the list whenever a change is made.

>4 Maddz: That's a good idea, but I think it's more applicable for personal accounts than public-facing libraries. They're going to be a bit more sensitive about what (and when) new items are made available in their catalog—so for many TinyCat members, the cautionary approach is a helpful measure. But this is an interesting idea, I'll keep it in mind if we redo those settings!
