Is there a maximum number of fields that display in the brief record? Can I choose what fields to display? How can I make a url link to an ebook show up in the brief record?

>1 yedlint: Just to be sure we talk about the same:
Brief record is what you see here?
https://www.librarycat.org/lib/bnielsen/search/text/28419522
Detailed record is
https://www.librarycat.org/lib/bnielsen/item/28419522
https://www.librarycat.org/admin/settings/ seems to offer little control over the brief record.

>2 bnielsen: Yes I am talking about the brief record a patron sees in Tinycat - your first link. I want the link to an ebook to show up on that brief screen.

>3 yedlint: I think that is called the Search page in TinyCat and there is rather limited control over it:

I wonder if one can put the link in the barcode field :-)

Yeah I don't believe there are any fields you can link to in that section, unfortunately. I don't see why you couldn't put a link to the record in the barcode field and display barcode on search results pages, although the link won't be clickable—they'll need to copy-paste it into their browsers. You'd also want to ensure that the link has some sort of security built into it to limit who can read the items, if you want to. E.g., a Google Drive link that has specific permissions set into the link.
