Hi, my name is Sonia D. Hebdon, and I am a Christian Australian author who writes exclusively for children and teens with disabilities. Why? I have three kids with Autism, and my eldest has Dissociative Identity Disorder. As a trained teacher, I realized the need to create a safe space to empower kids and teens with disabilities. All my work is in large print, and I have created a unique survival guide called "The Crazy Mother's Guide To Raising Exceptional Children," which is how I saved my daughter's life from self-harm. I have released early readers in the series "I Am Special The Way I Am," designed for young children just diagnosed with a disability. I am an Autism and Dissociative Identity Disorder advocate for change in the publishing industry, ensuring unique voices are heard and written for. I worked as a library technician for eight years before resigning to focus on my children's health. Now that they are doing extremely well, I have poured my extra time and passion into creating stories just for those who dance to a different tune.
My work is available from many prominent library suppliers worldwide, and I believe in the importance of everyone being able to access books they normally can't afford to buy because of tough financial times. How can you help as a reader? Simply request at your local library and order one of my books. The more requests, the more likely a library will stock it for patrons. To access ISBN numbers and publishing details simply search on Amazon or Barnes & Noble and use the publishing information on the request form at your local library.
I look forward to chatting with readers and especially parents of special needs children and teens, for whom I exclusively write.

Hello everyone,
I am David Wittenburg, and I’ve recently joined LibraryThing to catalog my work, The Witness Series.
A brother died. A son died. A daughter died. I wrote it all down anyway—not to perform recovery, but because the truth deserves a witness. My four books map the unnatural order of catastrophic loss, narcissistic systems, and what survives both.
I am not a therapist; I am a Vilomah—a parent who has outlived a child. Sanskrit gives us this word (meaning "against the natural order") because English has no name for us. My work exists for the 18.7 million parents in the U.S. that the language forgot.
Beyond the books, I am the founder of The Echoes Project and host several podcasts, including The 3 AM Inventory and Vilomah: The Witness Archives. I am here to build a record and a forensic architecture for those standing in this space with me.
I look forward to connecting with readers and fellow authors who value truth-telling and bearing witness.
Best,
David

I am a Vilomah—a parent who has outlived a child—and I carry that word with full weight. This series exists for the 18.7 million parents in the United States that the language forgot.
If you are a parent, a survivor, or anyone seeking to understand what survives catastrophic loss, I invite you to read and provide an honest review of this work.
